Coins for Change: Youth Challenged to Gather One Million Coins

The United Way of Clallam County's annual fund drive campaign will have a new twist this year. In addition to it's annual request for donations, United Way is challenging the youth of Clallam County to support our neighbors & friends with its COINS FOR CHANGE event. The goal is to collect One Million Coins as our youth's contribution to United Way. In addition to challenging the schools and youth organizations, United Way is also asking businesses, service groups, and organizations to contribute coins to help reach their goal. Between October 1 and November 3, coins will be collected by Elementary School students up to Peninsula College Students. First Federal has coin machines in their downtown branch, Sequim branches, and Forks branch which tally the number of coins and can also be directly deposited into a United Way account. If you or your organization is interested in participating in COINS FOR CHANGE, please contact: United Way 457-3011
