Sequim ends Port Angeles soccer season

(Port Angeles) -- The Port Angeles Roughriders boys soccer playoff hopes and season came to an end Tuesday night at Civic Field.

Sequim defeated the Riders 1-0.

Both teams played evenly end to end and both teams missed opportunities to score.

Sequim got a goal in the 51st minute. The Riders pressured late, but couldn’t score despite having the opportunities to even the match.

With Bremerton beating Olympic 4-1, the Riders were knocked to third place among 3A teams and eliminated from the post season.

The Riders loose 7 seniors this year to graduation.
