Sequim looks to advance to state baseball tourney

(Sequim) -- The Sequim Wolves have a chance to advance to the 2A baseball tournament after a 1-0 win over Washington in Bremerton's qualifying tournament Tuesday.

The Wolves scored Alex Gillies from second in the fifth inning for the only run of the game to give Matt Bereiter the win.

Sequim will face Kingston Friday at 7 at Bremerton's Legion Field with a regional berth on the line. A loss gets them a second chance on Saturday.
