Sequim man dies in ATV crash

(Sequim) -- A 31-year old Sequim-area man died of massive head injuries yesterday while riding his 4-wheel drive All-Terrain vehicle near Bonnie Grace Road, off Chicken Coop Road near Blyn. The Clallam County Sheriff's office said Ryan Wickersham and a friend had been riding their "quads", and trying to climb straight up a steep grade. Wickersham's front end rose, and the vehicle tumbled over backwards, down the hill, causing fatal injuries to the man's head. He had not been wearing a helmet, and deputies said alcohol appeared to be a factor in the accident.
