More unseasonable weather on the way

(Port Angeles) -- Welcome to spring. At least on the calendar, certainly not with the weather.
The National Weather Service has a snow advisory up for the north Olympic Peninsula today.
That advisory is in effect until five this afternoon.
Forecasters say the higher hills could see two inches of snow through the day.
More snow showers could fall tonight and again on Saturday. Highs are only expected in the low 40's for the next couple of days, with snow showers drifting to sea level during the heaviest times of precipitation.
The Seattle bureau of the National Weather Service says the air mass now over western Washington is the coldest of the year. In fact, it is colder than any part of the past winter.
Forecasters expect the cold weather to move out late this weekend and we could see some partial clearing by the first part of next week.
