Murder suspect arrested in Sequim

March 28th, 2008 - 8:58am

(Kent) - Sequim police assisted in arresting a man wanted in connection with the death of his wife. Police say 64-year-old Tracy Floren was arrested yesterday in Sequim, where he has been overseeing construction of what was supposed to be the couple's dream house. Floren's wife, Nancy, was found shot to death six months ago in Kent. The 56-year-old woman's body was discovered when cops were called to investigate an alarm. She had been shot twice in the head. Deputies found a revolver next to the body, but investigators say it was not the murder weapon. The gun used in the homicide has not been found. King County Sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart says yesterday's arrest was based on other evidence found near the scene of the shooting and statements Tracy Floren made to detectives.
