Skills center looking for more students

(Port Angeles) -- The North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center is hosting an Open House tonight (Tuesday). The event will be held from 6 until 8 at the Lincoln Center, 905 West 9th Street. Community members and prospective students are invited to visit classrooms, meet teachers and see students in action. Summer enrollment is now open for Skills Center programs including Applied Math, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Custom Painting, DigiPen-3D Animation, DigiPen-Programming and Digital Media Technology. To register, students must be entering ninth through twelfth grades in the fall and be 14 through 21 years old. For more information, visit www.nopsc.org.
