County makes no decision yet to appeal land-designation ruling

(Port Angeles) -- Clallam County Commissioners made no decision Tuesday on whether to appeal a ruling that invalidates the Carlsborg Urban Growth Area. The Board had a lengthy discussion with the Prosecutor Tuesday at their regular meeting. County Commissioner Mike Chapman says the Board needs to continue to talk about the options before moving forward. A ruling last month by the Western Washington Growth Management Hearings Board invalidates 20 Limited Areas of More Intense Rural Development -- also known as LAMRID's.
