Homeless man accused of stealing bike

(Port Angeles) -- A homeless man is accused of stealing a bicycle from a central Port Angeles residential garage
Monday.
18-year old Brandon Michael Spivey made an initial appearance in Superior Court Tuesday afternoon on charges
of Second-Degree Burglary, Third-Degree Theft and Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
In charging documents, Prosecutors say a woman saw Spivey pedal her green Huffy women's bicycle out of her
East 10th Street garage Monday afternoon.
The woman called 911 and Port Angeles police officers made contact with Spivey within minutes on Peabody
Street.
Papers say witnesses identified Spivey as the person who took the bicycle.
Officers say they found drug paraphernalia in Spivey's pocket during a search of his person, incident to arrest.
Judge George Wood ordered Spivey held on 5-thousand dollars bail and to appear at arraignment on July 3rd.
