(Walla Walla) -- A Sequim man will be executed by lethal injection in less than two weeks.
Prison officials say Darold Stenson declined to choose between hanging and lethal injection. So by default, Stenson will be given a lethal injection on December 3rd.
His stay of execution has been lifted and the prison has readied itself for the first execution in nearly eight years.
Stenson was sentenced to die for killing his wife and business partner in 1993 near Sequim. Police say the case involved an insurance scam revolving around a Ostrich farm the three operated near Sequim.
