Crash in Blyn injures one, ties up highway traffic

(Blyn) -- A head-on collision in Blyn a sent one person to the hospital and closed Highway 101 yesterday afternoon.

State Patrol Troopers say 81-year-old Donna Postwald of Sequim crossed the center line in her Dodge Caravan.

Her van collided with a Subaru Forester driven by 42-year-old Laurel Hermanson of Portland, Oregon.

Hermanson was taken to Olympic Medical Center with facial injuries.

Both vehicles were totalled.
