Local cops make numerous drug arrests

(Port Angeles) -- Local law enforcement has been busy the past couple of days making drug arrests.
A 28-year old man was arrested by Sheriff's Deputies early this morning (Friday), after they witnessed an alleged drug transaction in Carlsborg.
Nathan Ruffcorn of Port Angeles was booked for charges relating to possession and delivery of marijuana and heroin.
A search warrant was obtained for the suspect's vehicle and resulted in the discovery of drugs and evidence of dealing, along with more than 45-hundred dollars in cash, which was seized.
Ruffcorn was arrested and booked into the jail.
Yesterday, OPNET detectives with Port Angeles and Sequim officers served a search warrant in the 800 block of South C Street in Port Angeles.
Authorities say 23-year old Robert L. Stone was booked into the jail on charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, specifically cocaine.
The file in both cases will be referred to the County Prosecutor's Office for the formal filing of charges.
