(Port Angeles) -- Turnout for tomorrow's Sequim School District levy election has reached 47 percent.
Nearly 11-thousand of the 23-thousand ballots that were sent out three weeks ago have been returned to the Clallam County auditor's office.
The district is seeking approval of a three-year replacement levy. If approved the district would collect about four million dollars in the first two years and 5.75 million dollars in the third year.

Meantime, turnout for a special levy election in fire district four has reached about 36 percent. Voters in the Joyce area are being asked to lift a levy lid to pay for operations and equipment.
Ballots must be postmarked or returned by tomorrow for both elections in order to be valid.
