Small fire at reopened plywood mill

March 3rd, 2010 - 7:49am

(Port Angeles) -- Firefighters quickly doused a fire in the just re-opened plywood mill in Port Angeles.

Crews were called to the PenPly mill about 9:45 last night near the dryers at the mill.

The mill just started producing plywood again Monday.

Fire officials say it looks like there was not a lot of damage to the mill. A fire sprinkler system helped knock down the flames.

Production at the mill is expected to continue as normal.
