Local private high school may close

(Sequim) -- A local private high school may have to shut down.
Olympic Christian School officials are mulling an idea to shut down its high school program that currently operates at Independent Bible Church in Port Angeles.
A lack of students is making it financially tough for the school to continue operating. There are 18 students this year in the high school. Usually the school has more than 40 students since it started operations more than a decade ago.
The school will host a public open house tomorrow. It runs from 12:30 to 5:30 pm at the school on Ahlvers Road in Port Angeles.
School officials say they hope the public will get a better chance to see what the program offers locally and may help with an enrollment campaign as well as finding ways to help fund the school.
