(Port Angeles) -- The city of Port Angeles has gone online for comments on plans for its shorelines.
The city is in the middle of a state-mandated update of the city's Shoreline Master program.
The city has now launched an online survey aimed at getting more input on the plan.
It's available on the city's website at: cityofpa.us/shoreline.htm.
You can take the survey for another two weeks.
Paper copies are also available a the city hall.
Officials say public input is important to create plans that will serve varied interests along the shoreline and in the harbor.
A Shoreline Master Program is a required document for all Washington jurisdictions and contains both policies and regulations that apply to development and environmental issues concerning those shoreline areas.
