Paving of Front Street to start in Port Angeles

(Port Angeles) -- Repaving of Front Street starts tonight in Port Angeles.
Crews will be working during the nights for the next week preparing street surfaces and applying pavement overlays on Front Street from Lincoln Street to Valley Street.
They'll start grinding asphalt tonight at 7 pm and work until four tomorrow morning.
The new roadway surface will go in during the following nights. The city hopes the project will be finished by July 30th.
When workers are present, Front Street will be closed to all westbound vehicle traffic between Lincoln Street and Oak Street. Traffic will be rerouted. Expect one lane closures on Front Street between Oak and Valley Streets.
