Deadline for survey on Port Angeles waterfront
September 10th, 2010 - 6:10am
(Port Angeles) -- Today's the deadline to fill out a survey on the future of the Port Angeles waterfront.
The city held open an online survey for residents to give their feedback on what they think should happen with the properties along the shoreline within the city's urban growth area.
City community and economic development director Nathan West says the information from the public is key to putting a final document together for state approval.
To take the survey, head to the city's website: cityofpa.us.
The city will hold a public open house Tuesday at the Vern Burton Center to talk more about the city's progress with the state Shoreline Management Act.
City leaders will also take comments at that meeting.
