(Port Angeles) -- A Port Angeles man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for a string of burglaries this past summer.
Paul Spoon plead guilty this week to eight counts of burglary.
In exchange for the plea, Spoon was sentenced to about 36 months in prison and another three years of probation.
Investigators say Spoon was part of a burglary ring that was drug-related.
He was originally charged with 18 counts in the case earlier this fall.
At the time of his charging, investigators said they expected more arrests related to the burglary ring.
The thefts and burglaries this summer happened at a number of local schools and businesses as well as some residences. Police say most of the crimes happened in areas where Spoon had been living.
