Rider girls win on the road

The Port Angeles Roughrider girls ran their Olympic League record to 9-3 Thursday night, besting the Olympic Trojan s in Silverdale, 55-52 in double overtime.
The Riders trailed by three with seven seconds left in regulations, buit Krista Johnson nailed a three to tie it at 40.
In the first overtime each team scored five, then in the second four-minute extra period, Kiah Jones scored five of her 10 points, Maddy Hinrichs hit a 3 and Jones meshed a key free throw to put the Riders up by three and Olympic did not get off a last shot.
Johnson had 16 to lead 10 Rider scorers.
PA gets back on the bus for a trip to Klahowya Friday night and goes to PT Monday for another makeup game.
