First Clallam County furlough day Monday

(Port Angeles) -- Most Clallam County employees will be off the job on Monday.
It's the first in 16 furlough days coming this year in an effort to balance the county's budget. It's a day off without pay for employees, except those that work in courts, or 24-7 services in jails and the sheriff's office.
Clallam County commissioners officially adopted the schedule of furlough days earlier this month. All of them will fall on Mondays.
The next furlough day will be March 26th.
