Two arrested in home-invasion robberies

(Port Angeles) -- Two men are expected to make a first appearance in court today in connection with two armed, home-invasion robberies.
26-year-old Sean Moore and 20-year-old Travis Turner were booked into the Clallam County jail over the weekend.
Clallam County Sheriff's detectives believe the duo are responsible for two home-invasion robberies on July 7th and 8th. One happened in Gales Addition, the other along Barr Road.
Detectives say they got a break in the case this week when two citizens came forward and gave statements that Turner and Moore had been carrying guns and bragged about committing the robberies.
A third man, 19-year-old Nicholas Taylor, was arrested on unrelated bench warrants when police busted Turner and Moore. Taylor rented a hotel room in which investigators believed Moore and Turner had holed up.
Detectives seized Moore's pickup truck and during a search of the truck recovered a plastic BB gun pistol, a rifle, burglary tools, jewelry and property stolen in a recent home burglary.
Detectives say Turner and Moore admitted to the crimes during interviews.
