***UPDATE*** Search successful for missing woman in Port Angeles

(Port Angeles) -- An elderly woman missing in Port Angeles has been found.
Police were looking for 80-year-old Jeanne Smithart after she apparently walked away from her vehicle parked in the Olympic Medical Center parking lot at Race and Caroline Streets last night.
Smithart’s son, Mark, had gone into the emergency room for treatment and Smithart decided to wait in their vehicle.
The two are from Arizona and have been camping and traveling through the Northwest.
Police say Ms. Smithart can get confused or disoriented and may be in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
Police say Smithart is okay and is being reunited with her son.
Mark Smithart had been admitted last night to Olympic Medical Center.
