Man identified in fatal car crushing

(Port Angeles) -- Authorities have identified a man crushed to death under a car in Port Angeles late last week.

Clallam County Sheriff Bill Benedict says 65-year-old Klaus Kommoss of Sequim died after the car he was working on rolled off scissor jacks at Angeles Collision Repair and Towing.

The county coroner has determined the incident Friday afternoon was was an accident.
