(Port Angeles) -- Clallam County sheriff's deputies have arrested a Sequim man in the case of an assault on a bicyclist earlier this summer on the Olympic Discovery Trail.
22-year-old Spencer Silva was arrested after authorities searched his residence.
He's accused of accosting the bicyclist near the Railroad Bridge Park on the morning of July 21st.
Sheriff Bill Benedict says they got the search warrant after tips from the public and detectives developed information on the case. They used video from a nearly surveillance camera to get a break in the case.
Benedict says the State Patrol crime lab and FBI helped enhance the video to come up with usable information.
Silva was booked into the county jail on second degree assault and unlawful imprisonment charges.
