Sequim to interview five for vacancy

(Sequim) -- Five candidates will be interviewed for a vacant spot on the Sequim city council.

Monday night at five, the council plans to talk to Eileen Cummings, Ronald Fairclough, Clifford Silliman, Dennis Smith and Genaveve Starr. They are vying to fill the position left open when Bill Huizinga resigned because he no longer lives in the city.

The council could announce the appointment Monday night.
