Sequim council to get "balanced" budget proposal next week

(Sequim) -- Monday, the Sequim City Council will get city manager Steve Burkett's proposed budget.That will happen in a special meeting starting at 5 pm at the Sequim Transit Center.
Burkett says the proposed budget shows 8-million seven thousand dollars in revenue and about 8-million dollars in expenses.
Burkett says the proposed budget maintains top priority service levels and implement City Council's key goals, including a financing plan for the new Police Station/City Hall project, while avoiding staff reductions and minimizing the impact of tax and fee increases
