Lights out for Sequim area

(Sequim) -- A problem with the Bonneville Power Administration's lines into the local area knocked out power for thousands of Clallam PUD customers.

The lights blinked and then went out for customers in the Sequim area and east end of Clallam County about 9:30 this morning. The electricity was out for about half an hour for most customers, however work continued through the morning to get the lights back on for some scattered pockets.
