Second vacancy emerges on Sequim city council

(Sequim) -- The city of Sequim will need to replace another city council member.

The same week the council swore in a member to replace Bill Huizinga, Don Hall announced he is stepping down.

Hall will resign effective the end of next month., citing his health as the reason.

He has been on the Sequim Council for eight years and will turn 81 years old next year.

The vacant position will be filled by appointment, with the term expiring at the end of next year.

Interviews will take place December 10.

This week, Dennis Smith was sworn in to take over the Huizinga vacancy.
