November 5th, 2012 - 6:18am

(Port Angeles) -- About 48 percent of the Clallam County ballots are back for tomorrow's general election. Through Friday, the auditor's office had just under 23-thousand of the more than 47-thousand ballots back. Elections officials expect a flood of ballots over the weekend and today as voters send in ballots ahead of tomorrow's deadline.

Auditor Patty Rosand is predicting an 86 percent turnout in Clallam County.

Ballots must be postmarked or returned to an official drop box by tomorrow to be valid.
