Peninsula College offers new center in Sequim

November 13th, 2012 - 6:14am

(Sequim) -- Peninsula College is opening the doors to the public on a new center in Sequim.

Tomorrow the college hosts an Open House at its new Sequim Education Center from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

The college just opened the center at the corner of Sequim Avenue and Spruce.

It offers GED and transitional education as well as English-as-a-second language classes throughout the academic year.

This is the first time Peninsula has dedicated this type of facility for the Sequim area.

College officials say it will let people get immediate help in brushing up on reading, writing, math and language skills.

The classes are all open-entry, which means students can start their studies at any time during the quarter and fit classes around their own schedule.
