School district to sell former PA elementary property

(Port Angeles) -- The Port Angeles School District will sell one of its mothballed properties.
This week, the school board agreed to sell the former Fairview Elementary School property. The district shuttered the school five years ago due to declining enrollment.
School district officials say the sale of the property could help it raise cash to go towards repairs and replacement of some of its other buildings.
Meantime, the new owner of the Five Acre School near Sequim has indicated interest in purchasing the Fairview property.
