Final dissolution for Clallam Business Incubator

(Port Angeles) -- Clallam County commissioners and Port Angeles School board members meet tomorrow to begin permanently dissolving the Clallam Business Incubator.

The incubator was shelved three years ago.

The county has proposed the school district accept all the assets and liabilities of the defunct nonprofit.

In return, the county would forgive what's left of a three-quarter-million dollar loan the county put towards the incubator. That money came through the state.

In 2004, the incubator was formed through a series of public partnership in an effort to help launch start-up businesses.
