Rider girls roll on

Port Angeles took control early in a battle with Kingston on the road and cruised to a 58-40 win over the Vikings.

In Port Angeles, the Kingston boys rolled away in the second half to take a 70-48 win, sending the Riders to their third league loss. PA hosts Centralia Saturday night at 5 for jv and c action.

Kingston led the Rider boys 27-20 at the half, then broke the game open at 46-32 by end of the third period. The Bucs hit six of seven three-point shots in the last period to really put the game away.

Connor Wall led Kingston with 25, 14 in the last period. KT Deam had 13. Caleb Treider had 14 for PA, Marshall Elliot had 13, Garret Payton 10.
