Earthquake rattles north Peninsula area

(Seattle) -- An earthquake rattled some area houses late last night.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network reports a magnitude 4.0 quake hit about 14 miles northwest of Friday Harbor. It was a depth of about 34 miles.
Listeners to KONP on the Olympic Peninsula reported feeling a sudden jolt at the time of the quake, about 10:30 last night.
There were no reports of damage.
