(Port Angeles) -- The United Way of Clallam County has reached about 70 percent of its goal as the end of the year draws near.
Executive director Jody Moss says about 670-thousand dollars has been pledged so far. The United Way hopes to raise one million sixty thousand dollars this year.
Moss says she's hopeful more money will come in.
Moss says many people make final arrangements to donate as year end giving. She says the United Way office will be open today as well as Monday for people to make a last-minute donation.
You can also make a tax-deductible pledge online at unitedwayclallam.org.
The fundraising campaign officially end next March, but most of the effort takes place before the end of the year.
