(Port Angeles) -- A Clallam County Superior Court judge has found a local man guilty in the attack on a bicycle rider along the Olympic Discovery Trail last summer.
Judge Brooke Taylor yesterday found 23-year old Spencer Silva guilty of three of five charges he faced in a bench trial last week.
Silva was found guilty of second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, first-degree attempted robbery and residential burglary.
Prosecutors had tried him for two incidents. One last July near Railroad Bridge Park where they said Silva attacked a 22-year-old female bike rider. Investigators used video from a nearby security camera to arrest Silva.
Silva was also tried for a 2011 incident in which he allegedly opened and peered into the bedroom window of a sleeping 17-year old girl in Carlsborg.
Taylor found Silva not guilty of a voyeurism charge in that case.
A charge of unlawful imprisonment is still under advisement.
Sentencing of Silva is scheduled for February 19th.
