January 30th, 2013 - 5:50am

(Port Angeles) -- A fugitive wanted for alleged Port Angeles area crimes is back in Clallam County.

Andrew David Nilsson will be arraigned Friday in a Port Angeles domestic violence case late last September.

Port Angeles police believe Nilsson is the suspect. But they couldn't arrest him as he fled the area. At the time, Nilsson was reported to be suffering from paranoia and mental issues, and possibly armed with an AK-47 rifle.

Nilsson was located and arrested in Los Angeles county in November. He was finally extradited to Clallam County and made a first appearance in Clallam County Superior Court late last week.

Nilsson faces multiple charges, including unlawful imprisonment, felony harassment, second degree assault, 4th degree assault and 3rd degree theft.
