Port Angeles connection to Kitsap gun running operation

(Port Orchard) -- Guns stolen from the Port Angeles area were part of the cache of weapons authorities say a Kitsap County employee dealt illegally.

Trevor Hulley remains in jail in Port Orchard. He was arrested last week after police found an assortment of firearms in his Port Orchard home.

Hulley is the lead mechanic for the public works department at Kitsap County. Investigators say he had a large collection of guns.

Investigators say at least three of the weapons came from Port Angeles.

KOMO News reports authorities began the investigation aftert they say Hulley stole a county truck and a gun was found under the seat when the truck was recovered.

Detectives say they aren't sure who Hulley was shipping the guns to.
