(Port Angeles) -- More than 40 percent of the ballots are back for Sequim School District's special levies.
Through yesterday, the Clallam County Auditor's office had received back just over 86-hundred of the more than 21,500 ballots sent out.
The district is seeking re-approval of its four-year maintenance and operations levy and a second, one-year levy to pay for school buses.
Ballots must be postmarked or returned to an official ballot drop box by this Tuesday.
