Sequim city council to take up new garage restrictions
February 21st, 2013 - 6:19am
(Sequim) -- Restrictions on the size of outbuildings may be coming in Sequim.
This week, the Sequim Planning commission agreed to new limits on the size of structures such as garages inside the city limits after holding a public hearing.
The proposal would limit outbuildings to a thousand square feet and couldn't be taller than 18 feet.
The rules came after neighbors complained about a large garage that went up recently on Fir Street.
The city council will have the final say later.
