Hearing tonight on selling Fairview school

(Port Angeles) -- The Port Angeles School District wants to know what you think about a potential sale of the former Fairview Elementary School property.
The school board holds a hearing tonight on the topic.
The district is considering selling the property along Lake Farm Road. The school board declared the property surplus late last year.
There have been a couple of parties interested in purchasing the property.
It appraised for a little over a million dollar three years ago.
The district shuttered the school in 2007 and moved Fairview students to Roosevelt, which was converted to an elementary.
The hearing starts a five tonight at the district's Central Services Building. The district is required to hold two public hearings before the property is sold.
