March 25th, 2013 - 5:41am

(Port Angeles) -- Union workers at Nippon Paper in Port Angeles are back on the job today.

About 130 of them, walked off the job last week after Nippon imposed a best, final offer on a contract.

The two sides had been negotiating for nearly two years.

Union leaders agreed to return to their jobs Friday after workers walked picket lines for two days.

The union and Nippon are still expected to sit down with a federal mediator in the next week or so.

The union filed an unfair labor practices complaint against the company.

The mill employs about 200 people in Port Angeles.
