Waterfront improvement displaces "special" birds in PA

(Port Angeles) -- A curious trio of famous Port Angeles birds is looking for a new nesting area, and they are using Facebook as part of the home hunting process.
"Webb" the pelican, "Curious" Crane and "AR-Tee" Eagle lost their nesting area when the Port Angeles waterfront underwent its reconstruction process. The birds have been winter nesting in the offices of the Port Angels Downtown Association.
Originally conceived as part of the Art on the Town, "Birds on the Piling", the metal-feathered friends are looking for that permanent roost. The public is invited to provide input by using Facebook.
