Huether sentenced for role in Pimental death

June 18th, 2013 - 6:00pm

(Port Angeles) -- A woman linked to the strangulation death of Jennifer Pimentel was sentenced today in Clallam County Superior Court on 3 criminal counts.

26-year-old Kendell K. Huether was sentenced to 17 months on a charge of rendering criminal assistance and 8 months each on two counts of witness tampering, with credit for time served.

The Court set a restitution hearing for August 30th at 1:30 p.m.

Earlier this year, Kevin Bradfield admitted he would be found guilty of strangling Pimentel in Huether's apartment and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Court documents say Huether convinced a pair of men to lie to Police about when they last saw Pimentel alive after the woman was reported missing.

Papers say Huether already knew that Pimentel had been strangled to death by Bradfield and she had helped him dispose of the body in Jefferson County.
