Port Angeles picks new public works director

June 27th, 2013 - 5:35am

(Port Angeles) -- The city of Port Angeles will tap another man who has run military facilities to be in charge of public works.

City manager Dan McKeen yesterday announced Craig Fulton will become the next public works and utilities director for the city.

Fulton has been serving as the director of facilities for Marine Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

He'll replace Glenn Cutler, who came to Port Angeles in 1999 after running facilities at Naval Base Bangor. Cutler is retiring this year.

Fulton was picked from a group of four finalists who visited Port Angeles a couple of weeks ago.

In addition to his work at Camp Lejeune, Fulton has more than 20 year experience in public works management. He will start with the city on August 14th. He'll make $120,000 a year.
