Port won't release names of interim director finalists

(Port Angeles) -- The Port of Port Angeles has four candidates to become the interim executive director.
Port commissioners yesterday agreed to the finalist list to take over the top administrative post at the port.
But port commissioners won't reveal the names or locations of the finalists.
They firmed up the list during an executive session. It appears the public won't know the name until the job is offered. Commissioners plan to interview the finalists in closed-door sessions.
The port is looking to fill Jeff Robb's former position. Robb resigned two weeks ago and then was immediately re-hired, at the same 138-thousand dollar a year salary, as the port's new environmental affairs director.
The port has hired a Seattle company to search for an interim and new permanent executive director.
