The Clallam County Emergency Management Unit is providiong Management Training for managing disasters.

Volunteers will receive training on managing other volunteers with the distribution of emergency supplies when a disaster occurs. FEMA has created distribution scenarios based on the number of people who need help. They are called C-PODS.

Interested volunteers should contact Jayme Wisecup at the county's emergency management division this week. Training begins this Monday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Roosevelt Elementary School in Port Angeles.

She can be reached at 417-2525. Sign up ends this Friday.
