Man pleads not guilty to Port Angeles stabbing

(Port Angeles) -- A man accused of stabbing another man along the Waterfront Trail has pleaded not guilty to charges in the case.
55-year-old Edward Paul Horner of Port Angeles faces first degree assault with a deadly weapon charges in the July 23rd incident.
Investigators say Horner stabbed John Harold Hann just east of Hollywood Beach along the trail.
According to court document, Hann said Horner began hassling Hann's female friend at the beach. Horner reportedly wouldn't leave, leading to an argument that escalated.
Hann is out of the hospital, Horner remains in the county jail on 30-thousand dollars bail.
