Man jailed after two vehicles stolen 30 miles apart

August 30th, 2013 - 5:28am

(Port Angeles) -- A Port Angeles man was arrested this week for allegedly stealing two vehicles.

30-year-old Joshua Wilson was booked into the county jail Monday after the theft of a minivan and a car.

Clallam County sheriff's deputies say the two thefts took place nearly thirty miles apart.

They think a car stolen at Crescent Beach was driven to Graysmarsh farm in Sequim, where the minivan was located. That's where the car was abandoned and the minivan was driven back to Port Angeles.

Wilson was arrested Monday in the Port Angeles Walmart parking lot near the stolen minivan. Deputies say they also found heroin in the van.

Deputies are now seeking a second person of interest in the case.
